Insecure Writer's Support Group

The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day.

This months questions: As you look back on 2017, with all its successes/failures, if you could backtrack, what would you do differently?

As I look back on 2017, there is one thing I would do different.

I would write more ... a lot more.

If I knew at the beginning of the year, that the end of the year would leave me with no free time ...

I would have turned off the television.

I would have woken up earlier.

I would have stayed up later to finish that sentence, that paragraph, that chapter, that book.

I would have finished that Christmas novella.

I would have finished that book #2 of the series and book #3 of the other series.

I would have written those 1,000 words a day that would have added up to 365,000 words at the end of the year. (That's 5 full length novels.:-p)

I would have started that new series and that string of novellas that have been in my head the whole year.

Yeah, if I could backtrack, I'd do it differently. I'd write more.
